Export loans or savings to POS

This feature allows an LPF user to export savings or loan transactions from the POS device into the Loan performer database.

Note that

1. You will need a Point Of Sale (POS) device which has to be registered in LPF under System Configuration/POS device configuration.
2. POS download/Upload tool.
3. Also create a folder to where the data will be exported before trying to export.

How to Export loans or savings from POS

To export loans or savings from POS you go to Loans/Loan Importations/Export loans or savings to POS a screen like one below appears:

Export till: Enter here the reporting date. LPF will retrieve all loans with dues as of this date.

Geographical: From the drop down box, select a particular geographical area that you want to generate. LPF will retrieve all loans or savings from the specified geographical area. You may tick the Check for all option to have a report on all geographical areas.

Credit Officer: From the drop down, select the credit officer whose portfolio you want to export or select for all to include the portfolio of all credit officers.

Category: Select the product category that you want to export e.g "Loans or savings". You can also choose to export both.

POSID: Enter here the ID number of the point of sale. The field POSID is simply a unique key that identifies the device and cannot be entered more than once.

Expected amount:The expected amounts due will be automatically appear here. It is a read only figure

Refresh: Click on the refresh button to generate the expected amount.

Export to folder: Click on this button to browse to the folder you earlier created and save the export file as seen below:

The above created file will be saved in the folder for data importation

Notice the file naming convention: “KA_Performer_LE_2” “KA” is the database branch name, “Performer” is the name of the current user “LE” indicates the file is a Loans export file and “2” is an incremental figure for every export file generated. While a "Savings" export file would be represented as “KA_Performer_SE_2”.
